Hello MFRMLS Members! This page provides info about MFRMLS Expansion to Pinellas and West Pasco

This page has been created to provide you with important information and guidance about the various changes that will be taking effect, as a result of MFRMLS expansion to the listing areas of Pinellas and West Pasco.

We are excited to have the Pinellas Realtor® Organization (PRO) and the West Pasco Board of Realtors® (WPBOR) and their members as part of our MFRMLS family of Realtors®, and we believe this expansion will benefit all of our members.

More than anything, we understand change is not always easy, even if it's beneficial, which is why we hope this page will help you with any changes that are being made.

So, let’s get started…Please see the List of Contents below to see areas of important information, and then please find the corresponding information further below on the page for your review.

List of Contents

1) MLXchange Downtime (May 2—3)

2) Elimination of “Tampa Area” field

3) MLXchange Field Changes

4) MFRMLS Rules Changes

5) Quick CMA

1) MLXchange System Downtime (May 2—3)

Because of necessary changes to MLXchange, please note that MLXchange will be unavailable from 5 pm on Monday, May 2 to 8 am on Tuesday, May 3.

Once again, please note:

Monday, May 2 (at 5 pm)—MLXchange unavailable to access

Tuesday, May 3 (at 8 am)—MLXchange becomes available again (with changes implemented)

*Please remember, during this system downtime, you may still access MLS listing data via:

a) IMapp — mfr.imapp.com

b) Kurio — mfr.kurio.mobi

c) www.MyFloridaHomesMLS.com

2) Elimination of “Tampa Area” field

On May 3rd, the “Tampa Area” field will be eliminated in MLXchange.

As a result, by 5 pm on May 2nd, you will need to re-establish or update the following to accommodate this change:

  • Searches: For all of your saved searches that are currently using the “Tampa Area” field, you will need to revise your saved searches, using one of the following methods:

—Entering info into the “Subdivision/Community Name” field

—Entering info into the “MLS-Zip” field (zip codes)

—The “Search Map,” in order to draw the search parameters around your saved search area

  • Auto-Notification: For all searches that are using auto-notification, please make sure to revise these searches using one of the above alternatives so your client continues to receive accurate and timely updates.
  • Custom Search Templates: If you are utilizing the “Tampa Area” field for a custom search template, and/or if you have saved searches based on this template, please be aware that these saved searches will not provide accurate results unless you revise your saved searches, using one of the methods mentioned above (“MLS-Zip” field, “Search Map,” etc.—all system search templates have these fields, so you will not need to re-establish a new template to do this).

Additionally, as another option, you can use the “Search Map” to draw a shape to create a respective “Tampa Area” and you can then save a search template utilizing this map for future use (in other words, although the “Tampa Area” field is going away, you are creating and saving this respective “Tampa Area” for future use by outlining it on the map).

  • Supra eKey: Just like with your saved searches, if you are a Supra eKey user, and you are using “Tampa Area” codes, you will need to re-configure your market areas using the zip codes for those market areas.

Additionally, as another future option, we also want to remind you that Kurio is a great product that provides Realtors® with up-to-date MLS information—right from the convenience of your mobile phone! So, if you are on-site at a property and looking for information, Kurio is another way to get the information you need when you need it.

Kurio is included at no extra cost with your MFRMLS membership!
